 Today we got a new encounter near our house. Her name is Kaila. She is owner of Vape shop. Sometimes I went to there and she recognized me, and she gave me some stickers for free. She was so kind to us. This night I bought a vape to this shop with Natsuki, surprisingly she gave a vape for Natsuki. He really glad about this. We also enjoyed small talked and took a picture for our memory. She complimented me about my English, this was so encouraging for me. I felt so happy to get a new encounter At the same time, I miss being able to make friends with new people like this before I have to go back to Japan.

She always looks for food so, she always looks my dinner and begs it. However, she always does that so, she always watched by my host mother. During eating dinner, she often walks around kitchen that’s so cute and funny.

First week pic

 This is first week’s photo in backyard. Zoe didn’t get used to us yet, so she was wearing face mask to prevent biting us. This day was nice sunny day. I miss like this sunny day now is too cold for me. We enjoyed talking and introducing about each other.

 We went to Kelowna and we could spend good time. Me and some classmate went to antique shop and second clothes shop. Their shops have nostalgic mood, and it was like going to the old day. Also, we faced funny situation, the car stopped by police but suddenly the car run away at high speed. Some people saw this situation with us, and they were so excited and laughed. That moment was one of the craziest moments in Canada life. Then we visited Okanagan Lake. That was so beautiful and huge like an ocean. However, we couldn’t find Ogopogo.

This day I went to Christmas market in Sandman stadium with my host family. Before entered the stadium me and Delilah went to river side park and saw a woodpecker. It was first time to see a woodpecker for me and we could see a woodpecker very close, so we were so excited. After we said goodbye for a woodpecker, we went to the market and bought some stuffs. Many people were there, and I saw lovely handmade stuffs like magnets, bracelets and so on. Everyone looked so fun and I could enjoy talking with some shop staffs.

Today I joined pumpkin patch of LEAP with Yuki and some my classmates. First, we went to corn maze. The corn maze was huge, and it was the same view I saw in the movie. The corn maze had some unique Halloween stuffs there were so funny for us. Also, we could get some friends from India. And then, we looked for pumpkins to make jack-o-lantern in the farm. After that, we went to the river near the farm, and I could see eagles. They have huge wings like an angel. I could feel the beauty of nature. After all, we went to Memorial park and we enjoyed talking and making jack-o-lantern. I got along with new friends who have different cultures. That experiences was useful to improve my speaking skill and understand different cultures.
